Photovoltaic Solar Module Sheet CIKcap®
The company’s encapsulating material CIKcap® was developed by combining EVA molding technology, refined over the years through agricultural films and civil engineering sheets, with formulation technologies that enable extended durability. The defining feature of CIKcap® is that it can be expected to facilitate productivity improvements during the solar-cell production process thanks to its small thermal shrinkage ratio. The newly installed equipment has a production capacity of around 7,000 tons a year, enabling C.I. Kasei to address growth in global markets. The company aims to drive further expansion in the PSM encapsulating materials business by operating the newly completed equipment at full capacity as soon as possible.

LED
LED have the characteristics of being much brighter and having a much longer life than incandescent or fluorescent lights using the same power consumption. The heat release value is lower meaning power consumption is suppressed, so energy-saving effects and deterrent effects for global warming are achieved.
C. I. Kasei has spent many years researching and developing sheet and film technology to utilize production of fluorescent films, and we have recently succeeded in production.
